Drake shows love for Rihanna by wishing her a happy birthday

Drake's real love is Rihanna. The rapper gave his former beau a birthday shout out during his Dublin show on Monday night, the singer's 29th birthday. "It's somebody's birthday today-somebody I have a lot of love for and a lot of respect for," he told the crowd. "So, instead of singing 'Happy birthday,' though, we just got to do this in Dublin. Instead of singing 'Happy Birthday,' we're going to set it off just like this..." he continued, before performing their collaborating "Work." The "Fake Love" rapper and RiRi called it quits in October and since then Drake has been linked to R&B star Jennifer Lopez. But the on-and-off again relationship between Drake and Rihanna never once allowed the "Hotline Bling" artist to say a bad word about her. Her birthday wouldn't be the only time Drake decided to make a public declaration of love for the Barbadian beauty. At last year's VMAs, he presented her with the Video Vanguard award and professed his love. "She's someone I've been in love with since I was 22-years-old," he told the audience. "She's one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I've looked up to her, even though she's younger than me. She's a living, breathing legend in our industry."
